Vandoren Traditional Bari Sax Reeds

Vandoren Traditional reeds are characterized by a very thin tip (the part of the reed that vibrates against the lip), but supported and balanced by a very robust heel (the back part of the reed held by the ligature). This combination allows the musician to produce an extremely pure sound. Aesthetically, Traditional reeds are recognizable by their linear tip cut, different from other models which, instead, have more rounded edges.

Vandoren Traditional saxophone reeds have the thinnest tip and spine, offering precise articulation with a full, dark sound.

The reeds are made from cane, which is particularly sensitive to changes in humidity. Vandoren Traditional reeds are now individually packaged. The so-called Flow Packs ensure a reed with stable hydration.
