The new FBT JMaxX series combines ease of use and versatility for many portable audio applications and installations: musicians, DJs, sound reinforcement rental, corporate events, bars and clubs. With its appealing shapes designed to eliminate unwanted cabinet resonance and reinforce powerful low-frequency performance, the JMaxX speaker series is available in three elegantly constructed two-way models: the 14" JMaxX 114A, the 12" JMaxX 112A, and the 10" JMaxX 110A. All feature the latest FBT 90° x 60° HF horn design, which offers improved projection, precision, and dispersion of mid and high frequencies. As it provides a myriad of possibilities for bands, DJs, and solo artists, as well as for permanent installations, each JMaxX model is actually four speakers in one. Derived from a decade of experience in portable amplification, the carefully customized EQ presets offer a highly intelligible response for monitoring; a slightly enhanced response in lounge bar applications; powerful and dynamic sound for DJs and nightclubs; and a generic EQ setting that reflects the original and familiar ease of use of FBTMaxX. Common to all JMaxX models is the latest generation 700W + 200W Class D amplifier with universal switching power supply, providing abundant power and headroom to reproduce even the largest transients without distortion. XLR inputs and outputs, volume control, EQ presets and filters, and ground lift switches are located on a clearly organized rear panel, making speaker setup and operation intuitive and consistently repeatable. The versatility of JMaxX is further emphasized by the numerous mounting and fixing options provided by ergonomic cabinets. Mounting in fixed installations is facilitated by using M10 suspension points or wall mount flanges, while portable use is facilitated by the integrated 35mm socket. There's no need for separate stage monitors, as the JMaxX cabinet profiles are wedge-shaped with angles of 12°, 40°, and 55° and, when used with specific EQ presets for floor monitoring, will ensure maximum clarity for performers.
