Yamaha is well known for the quality of its pianos. Now, in the P-145 you can appreciate the CFIIIS, the origin of Yamaha's first grand concert pianos. In addition, it incorporates a new speaker system that has been adjusted to replicate as faithfully as possible the sounds reflected from the soundboard and lid of a grand piano. By connecting the P-145 with Yamaha's dedicated Smart Pianist digital piano application, you can access all the piano's functions and add new possibilities for the performer. If you want to record a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube or TikTok, Rec'n'Share is the right solution.
This model offers the sound of a Yamaha concert grand piano, the CFIIIS: the origin of the best Yamaha concert grand pianos, the CFX. The sound has been sampled from a piano with a brilliant and transparent tone with spacious highs and an overall solid sound feel. In addition, the P-145 features a pedal resonance function that reproduces the rich resonant sound heard when the damper pedal is pressed, for an even fuller sound. We hope you will appreciate the intense and deep character of this instrument's sound, so characteristic and very close to a real grand piano. Needless to say, this instrument does not require tuning.
By connecting the P-145 to Yamaha's dedicated "Smart Pianist" digital piano app, you can intuitively perform all operations on the P-145 from the screen of your smart device. You no longer need to pull out the manual to see how things work. When connecting a smart device to a musical instrument to use the app, you can use a cable or connect wirelessly using Yamaha UD-BT01 (sold separately; for iOS only).
